This position will support new and existing relationships inside of LAUSD. You will work closely with current and prospective Principals, Teachers, Coaches and other decision makers as a trusted advisor to understand curriculum and pedagogical needs and how Great Minds curriculum (Math, ELA, and Science) will help them reach their academic goals.

This is a perfect role for a former LAUSD teacher or district decision maker to make a transition into Great Minds.

Specifically, this role will:

  • Create outstanding relationships with existing school leadership and ensure they are leveraging Great Minds curriculum to meet their goals.
  • Develop new relationships with prospective schools to understand how Great Minds curriculum can address curriculum needs.
  • Fully own Great Minds strategic relationship with LAUSD to understand the full range of opportunities, risks and the future state of curriculum buying at the district level.
  • Take qualified leads through to close.
  • Manage territory holistically.
  • Take leading role with Internal Sales Associates and Account Associates to achieve identified goals.

Job requirements

  • This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Marketing or Liberal Arts. 
  • Proven experience as a hunter with ability to open doors.
  • K-12 classroom teaching, PD and/or sales experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of sales data systems like Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. 
  • High Drive. 


  • 5 years sales experience with strong knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Educational/Technology sales experience and classroom teaching experience / teaching skills are preferred.
  • Experience with consultative selling.
  • Classroom teaching and K-12 Leadership and or District Level Leadership Experience. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Periodically lifting, reaching, and moving product up to 40 lbs.
