Job Purpose
Program Assistants—Images and Assets in the mathematics department work with curriculum writers to submit requests for images required for creating curricular products. This role is for detail-oriented individuals who are familiar with PK-12 math curricular materials and image formats for print and digital products, are passionate for high-quality, knowledge-building curriculum and hold the belief that every child is capable of greatness. While the work is remote and the ideal candidate works well independently, this position requires collaboration and necessitates strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Submit requests for new images, ensuring that images fulfill the intentions of the curriculum writers and adhere to style specifications.
  • Request permissions for images from external sources.
  • Maintain an accurate record of images used within curricular products.
  • Act as a liaison between Eureka Math and other departments regarding images.
  • Ensure that all work matches the house style guide, at times performing light editorial and formatting tasks.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with common print and digital image formats and technology.
  • Clear, effective, and timely communication, both written and oral
  • Comfort with technology and ability to learn new applications
  • Adherence to project schedule and associated deadlines
  • Self-directed and efficient with minimal supervision
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfort with giving and receiving feedback, including incorporating feedback
  • Familiarity with PK–12 educational materials
