Job Purpose

The Per Diem Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting both educators and the sales team by demonstrating Great Minds solutions and fostering new relationships with prospective schools and districts. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the sales team have the resources and guidance they need to succeed.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the local sales team with prospecting activities, including site visits, local events, and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educators in pilot programs and strategic accounts to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
  • Prospect for new schools and districts, gaining an understanding of their needs and recommending suitable products.
  • Conduct web-based and on-site product demonstrations, showcasing the value and effectiveness of Great Minds Products
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in districts preferably in district leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of HQIM and RBIS preferred
  • Strong understanding of K-8 Texas state standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-centric skills to build trust with educators.
  • Deep connections within state of Texas education influencers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts, staying informed of education trends and policies.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving goals and completing tasks.
  • Effective decision-making, ownership, and accountability.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and MS365.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

The expected salary range for this position is $30-$35 per hour, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
