Job Purpose

Reporting to the Marketing Technology Manager, the Marketing Operations Specialist should be well-versed in the principles of database management. You should also be analytical and good with numbers and reporting methodologies. Your goal will be to clean and maintain a right-sized contact database that is properly implemented, optimized, and has the highest possible return on investment.

The position will work very closely with members of the marketing operations team to provide clean, usable lists for outreach that comply with our data governance standards. This position will also work closely with vendors who support Great Minds in implementing these efforts as well.


Responsibilities

  • Clean data and maintain a clean database
  • Maintain data fields
  • Manage records and record views
  • Create and maintain lists
  • Create and manage workflows and process automation
  • Support integrations with other internal systems
  • Participate in cross-department data quality projects

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in cleaning and managing databases with over 100,000 records
  • Experience with enterprise CRM databases
  • Passionate about data privacy and security
  • Proficient in database technical vocabulary
  • Able to complete both high-level and detailed data analysis
  • Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data
  • Experience with data quality tools

  • Remote. May work from the Richmond, VA headquarters
