Responsible for overall management of Great Minds’ responses to proposal requests and state adoption reviews. Manages a team of 3 writers and proposal coordinators, and teams with Regional Sales Director and other content and operational departments to put forward responses for bid review, adoption and approval as part of the K-12 state/district education bid/award process.

Reports to: Chief Sales Officer


  • Develops and manages the process and materials by which primary instructional materials are reviewed by K-12 institutes and state governments
  • Manages long term calendar to project manage upcoming state adoptions and large district reviews
  • Ensures accurate and timely response to RFPs
  • Works with legal department to ensure compliance with all required documents and forms
  • Communicates with state DOE’s and school districts within specific guidelines, to acquire information needed to complete successful bid submissions


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years experience working with K-12 education adoptions at state and/or LEA level
  • K-12 education knowledge; areas of Math, ELA and Science in particular
  • Knowledge of typical educational technology integration requirements and landscape
  • Editorial and compliance competency that leads to error-free submissions
  • Flexibility and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to wrangle assistance from multiple cross-team co-workers and hold them accountable to deadlines
  • Supervisory experience a plus
