Great Minds, a rapidly growing challenger brand in the PK-12 instructional materials space, seeks an experienced Learning & Development Administrator to support the Great Minds Learning & Development Team through the coordination and administration of organizational training activities including the management of the training schedule and of ad hoc training requests, records keeping, collection of training data, and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: The L&D Team at Great Minds is looking for a colleague who relishes working in an excellence-driven team to support the learning and development needs of a fast-growing mission-focused organization. We are searching for a team member who embodies our organization’s commitment to inspire joy in both teaching and learning, who also has a passion for people development and an eye for organizational improvement.

Essential Duties:

This individual will be responsible for the:

  • Coordination, administration, and scheduling of organizational training programs—both planned and ad hoc programs
  • Preparation of printed materials and classroom needs for face-to-face trainings and workshops
  • Technical management of synchronous online courses, workshops, trainings, etc.
  • Creation and administration of a recordkeeping system to track employee training participation and progress
  • Coordination and administration of L&D team-sponsored assessments
  • Preparation and dissemination of assessment results and communication of insights
  • Provision of ad hoc L&D reporting requests
  • Monitoring and assurance of compliance with state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, requirements, and/or contract agreements
  • Provision of office assistance to team members, including managing deadlines, ordering supplies, managing meeting logistics, etc.
  • Budgeting tasks associated with the L&D team, including tracking and monitoring of budgetary expenses
  • Tracking and distribution of project management documentation as needed (including team/project calendars)
  • Helping to manage vendor relationships
  • Delivery of outstanding customer service to internal Great Minds team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with approximately 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid relationship building, consultative, and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, with strict adherence to deadlines
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer software skills and a comfort and willingness to develop new skills
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working with clients and vendors

Special Position Requirements:

This individual should:

  • Be comfortable with using or learning to use a variety of technical tools, including Learning Management Systems and eLearning development tools.
  • Be highly organized, flexible, adaptive, solutions-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
