Position Summary: The Learning and Development Team at Great Minds is looking for a colleague who relishes working in an excellence-driven team to support the learning and development needs of a fast-growing mission-focused organization. We are searching for a team member who embodies our organization’s mission, who also has a passion for people development and an eye for organizational improvement.

Essential Duties:

This individual will be responsible for collaborating on and supporting the:

  • Assessment of organizational/departmental/functional training needs.
  • Design and development of training programs and materials (for live, online synchronous, and online asynchronous programs).
  • Evaluation and maintenance of L&D programs and materials.
  • L&D administrative tasks such as class scheduling, course enrollment, etc.
  • Delivery of outstanding customer service to internal Great Minds team members.
  • Delivery of training/facilitation of development discussions/workshops.
  • Assessment of vendors and vendor materials.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant business experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid relationship building, consultative, and customer service skills.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to translate abstract ideas into tactical concepts.
  • Attention to detail, with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer software skills and a comfort and willingness to develop new skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working with clients and vendors.

Special Position Requirements:

This individual should:

  • Be able to assess skills and knowledge to determine what development solution is needed.
  • Have experience designing, building, implementing, and evaluating a variety of learning solutions for local and remote employees.
  • Have and maintain their knowledge of L&D trends, innovations, as well as the market of L&D vendors and solutions.
  • Be comfortable with using or learning to use a variety of technical tools, including Learning Management Systems and eLearning development tools.
  • Be highly organized, flexible, adaptive, solutions-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.

Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
