Job Purpose

The Inventory & Business Analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day inventory management support for all transactions, such as receipts, work orders, transfers, and scrap and spoilage adjustments. In addition to providing inventory support, the Inventory & Business Analyst will investigate to determine root cause for any discrepancies and will adapt efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day inventory management support for all transactions
  • Complete inventory transactions such as receipts, workorders, scrap and spoilage, and warehouse transfers in Sage Intacct
  • Monitor kitted inventory levels and identify kitting needs
  • Create work orders for warehouses and monitor progress to completion
  • Coordinate third party cycle counts to understand discrepancies and hold warehouse providers accountable to SOPs
  • Ensure proper addition of new products into Intacct and warehouse systems
  • Work closely with internal logistics team to support inventory needs for large orders
  • Assist with researching inventory levels in Intacct and compare to warehouse inventory to identify discrepancies and determine root cause
  • Assist in reconciliations with third party warehouses, printers, and shippers and maintain an accurate inventory balance in internal accounting systems
  • Effectively build and maintain strong business relationships with warehouse third parties
  • Strong communication skills, knowledge of Excel, Smartsheet, Intacct, and Salesforce helpful

Job requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar role
  • Experience monitoring inventory levels
  • Experience working with third party vendors
  • Experience effectively building and maintaining strong business relationships with warehouse third parties.

Bachelor's degree preferred

The expected base salary range for this position is $49,000-$56,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations.. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
