Role Overview

This is a newly created role that will report into the compliance and legal department to ensure Great Minds creates and maintains relationships with a diverse range of supplier businesses. You will analyze new and existing contracts to identify suppler diversity requirements, track compliance and identify opportunities to proactively expand Great Mind’s supplier base to be more diverse. Additionally, responsible for defining, creating, improving, and maintaining processes related to compliance with other administrative requirements in customer contracts.


Responsibilities:

  • Audit and analyze existing and incoming contracts to identify supplier diversity requirements.
  • Track and monitor compliance to ensure Great Minds contractual obligations are met.
  • Create and maintain organizational and project reports related to supplier diversity requirements.
  • Maintain a matrix of supplier requirements.
  • Support teams in resolving issues with suppliers through the project lifecycle.
  • Understand Great Minds supplier base to identify opportunities in specific categories for underrepresented suppliers.
  • Identify and evaluate new diverse suppliers for future Great Minds engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ year’s experience in contract compliance, public procurement, government contracts, supplier diversity, or supply chain compliance programs.
  • Knowledge of Excel with the ability to generate reports and charts to convey current state and gaps.
  • Effective organizational and communications skills with the ability to influence

Location: This role is located in Washington, DC.
