The Position

The Director, Office of the Chief Success Officer (CSO) is a newly created role that will be the act as the chief of staff reporting into the CSO who manages a newly created Success team charged with supporting Great Minds customers to achieve outstanding learning results. The Director will act as a facilitator, connector, and key driver of activity across the Success organization, which includes the company’s services offerings, its state engagement team, its digital platform, and research and analytics. You will balance big-picture thinking and long-term strategic objectives with the ability to tactically execute.

This role will serve as the key advisor and partner to the CSO. Adeptness in data, project management, relationship building, and strategic thinking are critical in this role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as advisor, thought partner and key driver of activity to the Chief Success Officer.
  • Build and manage key relationships across the organization and within the Success organization.
  • Define key objectives for the department while developing a plan to execute and deliver.
  • Act as voice for the Success team and Chief Success Officer across the organization.
  • Synthesize and analyze multiple feedback loops to ensure decision-making across the team is evidence-based.
  • Continuously identify areas of opportunity across the Success organization to operate effectively and efficiently.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of strategic analysis and decision making within complex organizations. Appropriate experience could include roles within management consultancies, education services organizations, government agencies, and financial services organizations.

    • Ability to understand budgets and people strategy to be a key partner for the Chief Success Officer with Human Resources and Finance.
