Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, the Content Editor will be responsible for developing content, including white papers, research briefs, blog posts, and webinars. The content created will support product promotion and implementation. The person in this role will reach out and identify success stories and case studies from users, as well as help the content teams connect their products to current education trends and help create content that supports deeper understanding of the curricula and products for prospective and current customers. The candidate must understand the education landscape, education research, and how to develop digestible and actionable content for prospective and current customers.

The Content Editor will coordinate between product teams, marketing staff, finance, sales and contract administration. Working on several projects simultaneously is common in this role and the Content Editor will use their project management skills to their fullest.


  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
  • Coordinate with customers on the development on case studies and success stories including conducting interviews.
  • Use best practices and familiarity with Great Mind’s mission to inspire content and ideas
  • Develop related content for multiple purposes including research briefs, white papers, blogs, web content, webinars, and toolkits.
  • Monitor for new trends in the curriculum market, analyze trends, and make recommendations to keep staff informed about emerging trends and new opportunities.
  • Respond to data and policy inquiries to support internal planning and strategy.



  • BS/BA degree in related degree, Masters degree preferred.
  • 5­–7 years of experience leading and conducting research projects. Experience in the education sector preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills and writing ability.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into simplified language.
  • Familiar with project management skills and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
