ROLE

The Business Analyst / Project Coordinator plans, directs and coordinates activities for technology projects that spans IT Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure), SaaS applications (O365, Gsuite), and IT Security (Okta, Zscaler).


The ideal candidate will have strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. We are seeking a self-starter, with a bias towards action, who can recognize and make process improvement recommendations.


The Business Analyst / Project Coordinator will work closely with our rapidly growing IT team, as well as key leadership across Technology teams and with third-party vendors and technology partners in planning, coordinating, executing and supporting several technology projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Enable conversations with the Stakeholders and internal customers to understand the pain points and business needs
  • Excel at gathering business requirements and translating them to comprehensible documentation for project managers, Product owners and Engineers
  • Build test cases and perform validation of developed solutions
  • This individual will be responsible for planning, documenting, managing, and coordinating project activities from initiation through delivery
  • Directs the work of the project team
  • Identifies and deploys resources required for projects
  • Translate technical requirements to high-level project goals
  • Functions as escalation to project teams to resolve issues
  • Create reports and dashboards within Jira and/or SmartSheet
  • Translate technical requirements to high-level project goals
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and constantly manage customer expectations
  • Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
  • Act as the central point of contact throughout the life of the project.
  • Carry out training sessions as needed
  • Write users guides
  • Enhance requirements gathering and data visualization
  • Collaborate with team members to push the project request from initiation to completion
  • Provide input during Backlog refinement sessions to refine user stories

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years’ technology work experience and 2+ years demonstrated information technology work related to Cloud, SaaS applications, API-integrations, automation, etc.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Miro and Smarsheet
  • Experience using Microsoft O365 & Microsoft technologies like SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum framework and Kanban methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to set and manage Stakeholder's expectations
  • Ability to adapt to changes and improvements applied to internal processes and procedures as defined by department leads
