The Assistant Marketing Manager will work closely with the Great Minds marketing team to make immediate contributions to initiatives supporting our curricula (Eureka Math, Wit & Wisdom, etc) and services (Professional Development) through roles including:

  • Writing, editing and distributing marketing materials, including internal communications, promotional email, sales collateral, etc
  • Assisting with digital marketing, including crafting email campaigns and tracking results to analyze effectiveness
  • Writing and posting relevant, high-quality content to social media and tracking results and effectiveness of campaigns
  • Assisting in the organization, execution, and promotion of educational events/conferences and attend, as needed, to facilitate their success
  • Crafting periodic sales, marketing, and/or research reports
  • Supporting website content management
  • Maintaining the internal library of marketing documents and materials
  • Providing administrative support to the marketing team

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year using enterprise level marketing automation platform (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot or similar)
  • 1-2 years of professional experience.
  • BA or MBA in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
  • Interest in PK-12 education and/or education publishing is preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential
  • Fastidious attention to detail
  • Strong team player, able to harmoniously work within a group and/or other departments
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and balance multiple projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media and social networking platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Command of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus, Photoshop, InDesign, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and/or Salesforce
