Job Purpose
Account Support Representatives (ASR) are an integral part of the Sales Team at Great Minds. This role will work very closely with any open regions that might need help with renewals or inbound leads. The Account Support Representative will be reaching out to inbound leads in open territories that might generate new business opportunities, and they will also assist with any existing customers in open territories to support them in their implementation journey. You will work closely with the Inside Sales Supervisor (ISS) and Account Solutions Manager (ASM) on open territory requests. You will also be asked to support in some presentations around our newest ELA curriculum Arts & Letters and Eureka Math 2.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their sales knowledge and skills to become an Account Representative to contribute to Great Mind’s organizational mission to create curriculum and resources that ensure all students have access to a quality education in the full range of liberal arts and sciences.
Responsibilities
Pre-sales work (e.g. setting appointments, qualifying leads, discovery calls, associated follow up, managing customer questions and concerns, sampling product, etc.)
Manage and respond to inbound leads in the sales territory
Support with renewal business in open territories- existing customers to retain renewal of consumable and digital materials and as well achieve cross-sell and upsell goals
Negotiate and quote products for purchase
Execute add-on sales campaigns to existing customers
Understand the general health of the clients’ implementation to refer training and implementation support when necessary
Meet virtually via Zoom to prospective clients
Job requirements
Required Qualifications
1+ years’ experience in the education field with a strong ability to influence decision making.
No direct sales experience required, but an appetite and readiness to make outbound phone calls to schools and school systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Capacity to present Great Minds materials to small and large audiences via Zoom
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and proactive problem solving
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of CRM like Salesforce
K12 classroom teaching, PD, and/or sales experience a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Academic and growth mindset
Commitment to high standards
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in education, business, marketing, or liberal arts preferred (or equivalent business experience)

The expected base salary range for this position is $43,000-$49,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
